APRIL 22nd - 24th, 2010 Lafayette, Louisiana, USA Expo Acadie was first held in 2004 in conjunction with the Congrès mondial acadien and the 400^th anniversary celebrations of l’Acadie. Le Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) hosted Expo Acadie 2004, the first international trade fair featuring a wide variety of innovative products, services and exciting business matchmaking opportunities in historic Halifax. This unique event brought together delegates from the Atlantic Provinces, France, Belgium, New England, Quebec and Louisiana. Building on its success, the CDÉNÉ sponsored Expo Acadie 2006 in Louisiana and Expo Acadie 2008 in Nova Scotia. The CDÉNÉ will once again proudly host Expo Acadie 2010, this time returning to Layafette, Louisiana. With the theme Towards an Acadian and Cajun French Language Cultural Economy, Expo Acadie 2010’s activities will be mostly centered on the commercialisation of educational and cultural products and services. The event will offer entrepreneurs opportunities to establish contacts and do business with leaders in such areas as:
